Oooooh, really, Lord of the Rings? I'll admit I never even heard of it - WoW never appealed to me at all, though I did play FFXI for a long while. I've been wondering if I should get into an MMORPG again aside from EVE Online, which is very different from others.

The character animations in LOTRO are a bit robotic or stiff.

I played WoW for three hours one day. Got bored. Quit.

I play City of Heroes instead.

They have improved them vastly - the models work much better now and the game environment, hand's down - is the most stunning I have ever seen in the genre.

One of the models I used to work with quite a bit is a huge CoH nut. It never did much for me aside from the cool travel powers.

Really? I totally went the other way around.

... except now I'm pretty much done with WoW, since as a casual gamer I've done everything I could, everything I set out to do.

Tried LotR and didn't go for it, despite loving the books (and movies). Now I'm waiting for the next big thing!

If what you say is true, I may give it another shot.

I'm waiting until Star Wars: The Old Republic comes out, then I'll get back into the MMORPG scene once more.

It's being created by BioWare, the same people who brought out the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
The cinematic for the game is phenomenal! I only wish that the link would come on without causing a smiley.
