April is here, and one of my all time favorite bands... Metric, who I thought were done forever! Have a new album out called "Fantasies".



That alone would make me happy.

But what puts me on cloud 9 is that it totally rocks, it's their best album ever!!!

For those unfamiliar with Metric or Emily Haines the closest thing I could really compare them to is New Order/Joy Division - cept better and in the end no one really compares to Metric! They are kinda like a chocolate malt on a warm summer day... it's comfort music, makes me happy.

That's all aside from the fact that I could just watch Emily dance around in her mini-dresses and be perfectly content as well.

Anyway, it's officially an all thumbs up album and it will be on heavy rotation for quite awhile.
