My father died this past week... so it's going to be sort of an odd thanksgiving for me.
We all have to face losing parents at one point in our lives... but I guess you are never quite ready for it.
I suppose I am lucky to even have a father, and one that was always there for me - that's not usually the case in this society as of late. He was a good dad and a good friend as well. I am going to really miss him, especially the weekly talks.
