Sundress by Zedul Sundress by Zedul
We were headed back to the car after doing some stuff near a tree and I noticed the sun shining through Laurel's dress and pointed it out. She did a bit of twirling and playing with the dress... causing some passersby to slow their car down for a look so I snapped the picture real quick and we got out of dodge.

Amazing, very beautiful. Very dream-ish as well.

Lovely and natural - the way it should be and the original way to wear sundress. Sundress is just XXth century version of empire dress which has emerged during French Revolution as the emulation of ancient chiton and therefore was worn without pantaloons. Sundress itself appeared after WWII in Europe, when post-war deficite of textiles in rural areas and small towns has led to legalization of bare legs, cheap cotton fabric and nude bathing in rivers and lakes. So, the archaic simplicity and body freedom is what defines this kind of fashion.

Ok you are officially awesome! How do you know so much about dresses? I love the history of fashion. I have been trying to research, because fashion is such a part of my novels. :)

I love this one, so suggestive and innocent at the same time. I would've slowed my car too. Cheers.
