Model is Shanelle Steele. Way back in the early days, when I was a poor, struggling photographer - I received an amazing amount of support from models and photographers. Shanelle insisted on helping me purchase my first strobe - an alien bee mono-light (which I am still using today). Then she spent the day helping me test it - so these shots were my first ever attempts with a flash.

I had no light meter so we just played around all day - one light, one model, one photographer, and a camera. Still love this shoot too! About a month later, another photographer graciously gifted me a second light and I was on my way.
