I've been asking around, but I can't seem to get anyone to answer me... I've been getting into photography a lot lately and have always wanted to try a nude photoshoot just to see if I could handle it well, but I have no clue how one goes about setting that up.
Here is why nobody answers: They are thinking "another guy with camera who is going to creep out models".
It's like theoretical physics, it's not something you try on before you have at least a Bachelor or Master degree in science. Art nude photography is something you are either passionate about and driven to do it as an artist, or you are dabbling in it because you want to see naked chicks. Become a good photographer first, and then decide your specialty. I photographed and developed over ten thousand portraits, landscapes, flowers, and animals over a ten year period before a naked woman ever stood in front of my camera.
I understand that. However, I simply enjoy photography and am not to the point where it's viable as a career. As it stands, all I've had experience with up till now are nature shots. Working on a $0 budget with a 5yo Canon PowerShot A460 camera limits me. However, I have been wanting to try portraits for a while now and that's what I was asking about. How does a beginning photographer move from plants to people and from portraits to nudes?
